Data Products are not just a part of the data mesh paradigm, even if this is the first place many hear about the concept. But what exactly IS a data product? There are surprisingly many takes on what a data product is, but in this session we will take a closer look at what core features every data product should have regardless. We will discuss the various forms of data products that can appear as well as how you can place proper governance on them.We will also take a look at data contracts, which are a central feature when applying data products successfully. And we will look at how you can enforce and govern a data product approach with Fabric and Power BI

Efficiënter modelleren met DAX user-defined functies
Marnix Jansen

- Moderne tools zoals Facebook Prophet
From data to action: Driving decision-making with Power BI
Valerie Junk
Let's face it; there are probably not many people designing dashboards and reports just to have something pretty to look at. Companies asking for dashboards want to get insights and eventually take action with these insights. Many Power BI dashboards companies use do not fully fulfill this need. Often there is data, which is good, but taking action and taking the next step with the insights needs many additional steps... When we take a step back, the dashboards were intended to lessen the workload and not add to the workload.

Power BI auditing and monitoring 101
Andrea Martorana Tusa
This session aims to give an introductory overview on all the available options and tools for auditing and monitoring your Power BI environment.
Whether you’re an admin or a developer, you want to know what’s going on your platform on a different level. You want to track down adoption; who is viewing the reports you created, who can see what, what kind on privileges do your users have, what is the trend over the time, what contents are endorsed, etc...You want to measure performances: which report is having issues, what happens when a semantic model is refreshed, when and why a spike is happening, ... You want to keep the system clean and stable: find unused content, find orphaned artifacts, recover deleted workspaces, ...
